Grantmaking

The Fieldstone Foundation seeks to align resources with strong opportunities to address the Foundation's targeted issues to help improve and sustain the fabric of the communities where the companies within Fieldstone do business. We do so by building long-term relationships with nonprofit partners that empower us to achieve excellence in stewardship, while supporting the long-term capacity of nonprofits to create sustainable impact.

We have an annual grantmaking process, which is by invitation only. The Foundation only considers proposals from organizations that are formally invited by staff. For our 2010 grantmaking process, the Fieldstone Foundation's staff will be initiating all grant considersations. We will not be accepting any grant inquiries this year.


Grant Targets

The Fieldstone Foundation’s grantmaking is guided by three fundamental elements:

  1. Geography
    The Foundation invests in organizations serving the communities where the companies within Fieldstone do business: Southern California, Salt Lake City, Utah, and San Antonio, Texas.
  2. Population
    The Fieldstone Foundation gives emphasis to programs that serve children and families living in our communities.
  3. Grant Focus Areas
    The Foundation invests in specific targeted issues within each of the following general granting areas:
    1. Humanitarian
    2. Community and Education
    3. Cultural Arts
    4. Christian Ministries
