A Message from the Executive Director
On behalf of the Board of Directors and Staff, it is my privilege to share the philosophy and programs of the Fieldstone Foundation with you.
The work of the Foundation is based on a core set of beliefs that guides us in doing our work everyday. We believe fundamentally that we need to be active members of the communities in which we work and live. We believe it is essential to work in partnership with our nonprofit leaders, realizing that without them, our work would not be possible. We believe that money well invested in nonprofit organizations can transform. We believe that nonprofit organizations need strong leadership in order to deliver effective, efficient services. As a result of these beliefs, support from the Foundation is available in two forms: financial grants and leadership training for nonprofit executives and staff.
Just as a sidewalk connects new homes to one another to create a neighborhood, we function as a convener and collaborator within the sector. Through the Fieldstone Leadership Network, we provide opportunities to learn while creating trusting relationships among nonprofit leaders. We believe these relationships lead to better collaborations, which in turn, lead to opportunities for us and others to fund better services and a tighter net in which to lift up those in need.
This is our mission and we look forward to the opportunity to work with you to accomplish it together.
